Meet Ryan Kuhn

I’m Ryan Kuhn, an Ohio family law attorney admitted to practice in 2005. I represent clients in divorce, custody, and complex domestic relations matters throughout Ohio.

Family law cases are often disruptive and emotionally charged, involving finances, children, and long-term consequences. My role is to bring clarity, structure, and predictability to a process most people never expected to face. I focus on reducing unnecessary conflict, controlling costs, and helping clients reach durable resolutions.

I have significant litigation experience, including successful outcomes before Ohio’s Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio. That experience informs every case I handle. Many matters are best resolved through strategic negotiation rather than prolonged litigation. When litigation is unavoidable, I am prepared to manage high-conflict disputes involving complex property division, retirement assets, support, and custody.

I regularly work with financial and mental-health professionals to address both the technical and human aspects of family law matters. I also assist clients with forward-looking planning, including prenuptial agreements and adoption.

I’m a husband and father of two daughters. I balance family and practice every day, and I understand the practical realities my clients face. Outside of work, I enjoy exercising, climbing, hiking, and spending time with my wife and kids.
